As a visual artist with a Dutch and Swiss background, the human narrative is the focus of my work. My travels across various countries have only intensified my fascination with people, through which I have discovered and explored new languages, cultures, and stories.The way my camera enables me to capture and share personal and intimate stories authentically through photography and film is something I truly cherish.My preference is for long-term projects. Through these, I can immerse myself in the life of the person I’m capturing, truly taking the time to understand them. In such projects, I strive for purity, authenticity, and realism but I also allow myself the space and freedom for creative experimentation.
